Contact usWe know that any dental surgical treatment can be daunting. We will always take time to listen to you and understand any concerns you may have. We will take a detailed record of your mouth and, if needed, will use our Orthophos S 3D by Sirona, a CBCT machine, to create an accurate 3D image. The cutting-edge technology provides the best image quality at a low radiation dose.
After your detailed assessment, we will answer any questions you may have and explain the proposed surgical treatment in detail. We can also discuss the option of dental sedation to make you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible during your treatment with us.
We use a local anaesthetic injection so you will not feel any pain during your treatment. The numb sensation feels tingly or heavy around the teeth being treated, and you will feel a sensation of pressure during treatment, but this is not painful. The time spent treating is approximately 10-30 minutes, with your total appointment time around 30-60 minutes.
After your appointment, we will spend time discussing your aftercare, including what to do and not to do. We have a recovery area for you to spend time in to help you relax before your journey home. You will also be supplied with written information on how to best care for your mouth to ensure a fast recovery.
