Dr Shu Yang Ker

Shu’s commitment to periodontology has seen her dedicating the last 7 years of her
postgraduate training to refining her skills to provide the best possible care to her
patients. After achieving her dental degree at King’s College London, she completed
the rigorous specialist clinical master’s training program at the prestigious Eastman
Dental Institute and has been awarded the Diploma of Membership in Periodontics
by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

She believes strongly in patient centred, holistic care including the impact of gum
health on overall well-being and vice versa. Clinically, she has acquired the skills for
the management of gum diseases, gum recession and peri-implant diseases. Shu is
proficient in non-surgical and surgical treatments, carrying out all procedures in a
careful and conscientious manner.

Shu grew up in Singapore and Australia and moved to the UK 12 years ago. Outside
of clinical practice she enjoys embarking on culinary adventures both in and outside
of her own kitchen.
