Step One

Meet your Invisalign specialist

At Neyo, we provide free, no obligation, face-to-face Invisalign consultations with our Specialist Orthodontist. You will be told whether Invisalign is suitable for what you want to achieve. During this 30 minute appointment, we’ll check your teeth, and we’ll discuss treatment options and costs with you.

We will take a 3D iTero digital scan of your teeth and run an outcome simulator so you can get an idea of how you would look with straight teeth.

Step Two

Prepare your Clincheck

Once you have chosen Neyo for your Invisalign treatment, we will take any necessary x-rays and photographs which we will send off to Invisalign, along with your digital scan. Your Neyo Invisalign Specialist will then liaise with Invisalign to create a bespoke treatment for you using their advanced Clincheck software.

Once you have seen and approved the Clincheck, we will order your aligners. They usually take around 2-3 weeks to arrive as they are manufactured and sent from North America.

Step Three

Starting your Invisalign treatment

Once your aligners have arrived, you will return to have your first aligner fit by our Specialist Orthodontist. We will also fit some little white attachments to your teeth that help the aligners grip. Our friendly team will tell you everything you need to know about caring for your teeth and aligners. We will normally give you between 4 and 10 aligners a time, that you will work your way through at home. Your Orthodontist will see you approximately every 8 weeks to check how things are going.

Step Four

Your new smile

Once you and your orthodontist are happy with the results we will finish your treatment, remove the attachments and place fixed retainers. The teeth will be cleaned and polished to leave them looking beautiful. We can discuss tooth whitening or mouthguards at this stage.

Step Five

Wearing retainers

We want to make sure that your new smile is permanent. Retainers are used to make sure your teeth stay straight. They can be fixed (thin discreet wire on the back of the front teeth) or removable (clear plastic night time retainers). We like to play it safe so will normally provide you with both. We will see you every 6 months for a couple of years to check your retainers and make sure your teeth are still looking beautiful. We will always be available to see you, no matter when your braces were removed, if you’re worried about anything.

We hope you’ve learned a little more about how we’ll work with you and look after you along the way. You can always contact us for any more info you may need.
