Heard of All-on-4? Maybe had a consult? Now wondering how much it will set you back and if it’s really worth the cost, or if you’re being overcharged?

So, let’s acknowledge the elephant in the room. Yes, All-on-4 is expensive (it’s not the most expensive full mouth restoration you can opt for, but it’s up there) – and you’re right to want to clarify before diving into this decision. This post isn’t to convince you to say yes to All-on-4, but to help you understand what you’re getting for your money and how it will impact your life. The decision is then up to you.

Below, we’ve broken down our specialist fees, what affects the price, what’s included, what to watch out for and how to avoid overpaying…

First, the cost

At our specialist clinic in Burgess Hill, we charge £23,000 for All-on-4 or £350 per month with a 30% deposit.*

What exactly is included in the cost
  • Any tooth extractions you’ll need
  • Design and manufacturing of your temporary teeth
  • Design and manufacturing of your final prosthetic
  • Your total number of implants
  • Your oral surgery, anaesthetics and prescriptions
  • Surgeon’s fee and lab fee
  • Any follow-up appointments

Financing or ways to make it affordable

We offer dental finance over 12 months (0%) or interest-bearing terms (9.9%) over 24, 36, 48 and 60 months. This means you can pay for your All-on-4 treatment monthly.

For a total treatment cost of £23,000, with a 30% deposit (£6,900), monthly repayments would be approximately £350. Actual APR may vary. Finance available on approved credit.

Are there any hidden costs?

Sometimes with traditional dental implant placement, additional costs can occur, for example, if you need a bone graft. As All-on-4 has been designed for patients with a lack of bone, you’ll avoid any pre-prosthetic procedures and their additional fees. The only additional cost you’ll likely face with us is your first consultation fee with Dr Yogesh Wadher, which is critical for pre-treatment planning. This appointment costs £175. Book now.

Cheap All-on-4 vs premium - is there a difference?

Why some clinics charge more or less

Why will one clinic quote £12,000, whereas another one might quote £28,000? In the UK, the majority of dentists use the brand Nobel BioCare for their restoration (the best), whereas abroad, they use different brands that are less credible or have less clinical backing.

Prices in the UK might differ because while the brands and number of implants typically stay the same, the materials, lab work, planning and follow-up care can vary massively.

One quote from one practice might guarantee you 10+ years of proven stability, whereas another might require repairs or remakes more frequently.

What’s worth paying for vs. where to be cautious

When to pay:

  • Better, longer-lasting materials like Zirconia, which pay off in strength & aesthetics
  • Specialist and experienced surgical and prosthetic team – placement and bite are everything
  • Digital planning and guided surgery to reduce risk and improve accuracy and stability
  • In-house or trusted local labs that offer a better fit, quality and faster turnarounds
  • Post-treatment care, like checks, repairs, and  cleaning, ideally included in your first year

When to be cautious:

  • No clear breakdown on costs, what’s included or brands
  • Final bridge not included in price or downgraded to acrylic
  • No temporary teeth offered the same day
  • No warranties or aftercare
  • Sedation not offered
  • Aggressive low pricing with no backup plan if it fails

Long-term value, not just upfront pricing

Lower-cost All-on-4 might appear attractive initially, but if the bridge breaks or the bite is off and causes jaw issues, you’ll likely need to replace and redo it within the first five years, which might mean your simple case becomes a complex one and costs you more money as a result in the long run. Cheap All-on-4 is only cheap if it works, and keeps working for 30+ years to come.
