We start your treatment with an initial consultation with our implant dentist, Dr Wadher. During your appointment, he examines your overall oral health and ensures you are suitable for All-on-6 implants. We also take digital scans, X-rays and images of your mouth to help create your treatment plan and determine the best placement for your implants.
On the day of treatment, your six implants are surgically placed into your jawbone, using local anaesthetic to minimise discomfort. Once in position, we place your interim replacement teeth immediately on top of your implants, so you leave the practice with a brilliant smile.
After a break of around 3-4 months to allow your implants to heal and fuse with your jawbone, we place your final custom-designed and made prosthetic. This is thinner and lighter than your temporary arch of teeth, completely restoring the function and aesthetics of your smile.

All-on-6 dental implants are an incredibly long-lasting, premium solution for total tooth loss. Long-term studies show outstanding 5 to 10-year survival rates of 97%-100%. The biocompatible titanium implants themselves are designed to fuse permanently with your jawbone and can last for the rest of your lifetime if properly looked after. The high-quality final prosthetic bridge has a 98% survival rate at 10 years and can last up to 25 years with proper care and maintenance.
Both replace a full arch of missing teeth. However, All-on-6 uses two additional implants (six instead of four), which provides enhanced stability, better distributes chewing forces, and offers extra security for patients with severe bone loss.
The procedure can take around 3 months to complete. However, with the All-on technique and treatment method, you will receive an immediately loaded provisional bridge following the implant installation, known as teeth-in-a-day. You then wait 3 to 4 months for the bone to heal before we fit your permanent bridge.
After your All-on-6 treatment is complete, we’ll continue to see you occasionally and will take follow-up X-rays to check the bone and soft tissues surrounding the implants are remaining healthy and problem-free.
