Our approach
We use simple denture repairs to correct broken or cracked dentures. You can bring your dentures to our clinic, where we’ll assess the damage and advise on whether it is repairable. We also let you know the estimated time for repair and the associated costs.
Our approach is completely bespoke to your needs, so you can be sure of a denture repair that suits you. We can repair complete, partial, metal and acrylic dentures.
- A denture reline is recommended when we need to adjust the fit of your dentures. We take an impression of your mouth while you wear your dentures, allowing our technician to adjust the base to ensure a more snug and precise fit. The denture reline process is typically split over two appointments.
- A denture rebase is needed if the bony ridges of the gum on your dentures have receded, causing discomfort or misalignment. This usually occurs if you’ve worn the same set of dentures for five years or more. We replace the base of your dentures with a new one that fits more securely on top of your gums. This process can often be completed within a day.
- A denture adjustment is used if changes in your mouth have caused your dentures to rub or cut into your gums. Our clinician will trim the prosthetic and relieve the points causing the pressure. A denture adjustment repair appointment typically takes around one hour to complete.
- We also offer a denture addition service. If, for whatever reason, you’ve lost another tooth, we can add another tooth to your existing denture, so you won’t need to have another denture made from scratch. The process is fast, allowing you to have another tooth fitted on the same day or over two appointments.

FAQs
As your jawbone continues to deplete over time when you’re missing natural teeth, your dentures will get loose and irritate your gums. When this happens, it won’t just be uncomfortable, but will also be difficult for you to speak and chew, so denture relining is needed.
We offer soft denture relining for patients with sensitive gums who are new to their dentures, or hard denture relining for patients with full dentures. If you have full dentures, you may need this service every 2-4 years to help your dentures become more comfortable.
Our denture repairs at Neyo Dental Specialists cost from £150, depending on the complexity of your case and your denture issue. Our quote includes all appointments needed to restore your denture to full working order. Please get in touch for a bespoke cost for your denture repair.
