Dental implants are an excellent choice for replacing missing teeth – in fact, they’re the most stable, powerful and functional prosthetic available in dentistry today. But their superior factors mean they’re more expensive than dentures and dental bridges.
However, if you consider the long-term costs of tooth implants, you might find that you could save money.

Any additional fees to expect?
Patients with a lack of bone in their jaw won’t immediately be suitable candidates for dental implant treatment. Learn more about suitability.
Additional costs you might face at this stage might include a bone graft or a sinus lift, depending on the location of your missing tooth, which costs from £500 at our specialist clinic. The only time you can bypass a bone graft for lack of bone in the jaw is with special full-mouth implant treatments like All-on-4 or zygomatic cheek implants.
Other typical additional costs a patient should expect can include a consultation, a hygiene appointment, and potential tooth extraction if necessary to remove failing teeth.
All of which can amount to £550 more (depending on the number of teeth being extracted), and where you choose to carry out your treatment.
