Neil prides himself on delivering exceptional orthodontic results while keeping the whole teeth straightening process easy and enjoyable for his patients. His experience, expertise and enthusiasm for straightening teeth shines through and you will feel reassured that the advice and treatment you receive from Neil is of the very highest quality.
After being a leading Invisalign provider for many years, Neil set up his own aligner laboratory in Burgess Hill and developed his own ‘in-house’ aligner system, Neyo Pro Align, which allows him to customise his aligner treatments to levels that allow him to treat complex and advanced cases that are not usually treatable with mainstream aligner systems.
Neil also uses a wide range of orthodontic appliances including clear ceramic braces, metal braces, Forsus™ Spring, expanders, Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs) and many more. With experience in such a wide range of different braces, you can be sure Neil will find the best solution to address your concerns in a way that works for you and your lifestyle.
Neil has practiced orthodontics all over the world. He qualified as a dentist from the University of Newcastle in 2005. He then spent 4 years in general practice, before taking on a job in the Oral and Maxillofacial surgery department at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
In 2010, he began his 3 years specialist training in Orthodontics at Guy’s Hospital, London, and the children’s hospital in Brighton. During this time, he was awarded a distinction in his MSc in Orthodontics and was awarded the Philip Walther prize for obtaining the highest mark. After being awarded the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2013, Neil was entered onto the GDC’s specialist register for orthodontics.
From 2013 to 2019, Neil was lead clinician and specialist orthodontist at Grosvenor House Orthodontic Practice in Tunbridge Wells. During this time, he was awarded the Chapman Prize from the British Orthodontic Society for his research into accelerated tooth movement. He then left for Australia where he worked for Hunter Valley Orthodontics until the end of 2021. This role helped develop his experience in treatment of complex malocclusions using a huge variety of appliances not normally offered on the NHS in the UK.
Outside of work, Neil loves being outdoors, playing his guitars and he is a keen snowboarder. As a BHAFC season ticket holder, he enjoys regular trips to the Amex to watch the Seagulls.
