Promising more movement than Invisalign Lite

How it works

Invisalign Moderate is a particular package of Invisalign, which is broken into 20 stages and uses up to 20 aligners. Our specialist orthodontists typically recommend Invisalign Moderate inpatient cases where treatment goals fall between Invisalign Lite and Invisalign Comprehensive.

For example, your problem might be too complex for Invisalign Lite but not complex enough for Invisalign Comprehensive, so our Invisalign-approved dentists would then recommend Invisalign Moderate, so you don’t have to pay the higher prices for Invisalign Comprehensive.

The Invisalign Moderate treatment procedure

Treatment process

All types of Invisalign work similarly; they gradually move teeth into their correct positions.

However, Invisalign Moderate is designed to treat orthodontic problems described as “moderate”, which include certain types of crowding, gaps and general misalignment.

Just like with any Invisalign type, the process starts with a consultation. Specialist orthodontist Dr Neil Woodhouse assesses your teeth and bite to determine whether Invisalign Moderate is the right treatment to straighten your teeth.

During your consultation, Dr Woodhouse will use an intraoral scanner, which will take thousands of images of your smile to form a 3D simulation.

Together, we’ll see how your smile will move and change during each step, which means you’ll see what your smile looks like before treatment starts.

A treatment plan will be created, and your aligners will be ordered. Around two to three weeks later, your aligners will arrive.

You’ll wear them for 22 hours daily, only taking them to eat, drink, brush, and floss so your teeth move gradually as planned.
